| Condition: The aluminum curtain wall window
frames, aluminum sliding glass doors, aluminum balcony railings and
aluminum mullions on this Houston, Texas luxury condominium were
stained, discolored and water damaged during construction. The aluminum
curtain wall system leaked allowing rain water to leech and migrate
through the concrete slab depositing lime, calcium and acidic mineral
deposits on the aluminum as the rain water residue dried on the
interior aluminum finishes. The oxidized, acid etched, stained and
corroded new construction aluminum window frames, aluminum
sliding doors and aluminum clad siding panels had to be cleaned,
repaired, refinished and restored to like new condition. |

| The Solution: The G.C. required us to remove the
hard water spots, calcium deposits, waterborne contaminant stains and
the acidic mineral deposit residue that had stained, acid etched and
oxidized the blemished aluminum surfaces. On-site we got the dried on
hard water stains, deposits and acid etching streaking off the aluminum
finishes. We refurbished, reconditioned and restored the water damaged
aluminum curtain wall window frames and aluminum mullion extrusions as
if they had not been stained, blemished or damaged. The aluminum
finishes looked renewed and clean when the aluminum repair, aluminum
renovation and aluminum restoration was complete. |
