CASE STUDY 41 - REPAIRING AND RESTORING PAINTED ALUMINUM CLADDING PANELS

Condition: The highly reflective paint on the exterior building facade metal panels at this Exton, PA location of the U.S.P.S. had failed prematurely. The dull, chalked, faded and oxidized painted aluminum panels were an eyesore and in need of cleaning and paint restoration.

The Solution: As faded and oxidized paint restoration experts we were brought in over a weekend to clean, repair and restore the painted aluminum building facade panels to their original sheen and finish. The panels are now clean and restored making the building shine.



CASE STUDY 38 - REPAIRING ACID ETCHED AND STUCCO DAMAGED ANODIZED ALUMINUM WINDOW FRAMES

Condition:  The clear anodized aluminum storefront window frames and doors on this Ft. Myers, Florida strip mall were acid etched, blemished and stained with lime contaminated debris, water and stucco overspray. Concrete, stucco and mortar residue had splashed onto the unprotected anodized aluminum surfaces. The anodized aluminum new construction project was compromised by the concrete, stucco and lime residue, splatter, scarring and blemishes.

The Solution:  The G.C. retained us as an anodized aluminum construction cleaning expert to clean, repair and restore the damaged anodized aluminum storefront window frames and doors. They required that we repair the damage and return the anodized aluminum to the original condition. We achieved this request using our anodized aluminum concrete and mortar removal construction cleaning restoration system. The anodized aluminum surfaces are now clean, repaired, refurbished and protected from further damage.



CASE STUDY 17 - REFINISHING CONTAMINATED, STAINED AND RUSTING STAINLESS STEEL ROOF PANELS

Condition:  The new stainless steel roof panels, stainless steel gutters and stainless steel down spouts on this Longboat Key, Florida oceanfront residence were contaminated, stained, oxidized and rusting. The stainless steel was not washed prior to it being shipped to the job site. Stainless steel manufacturing particulate and stainless steel fabrication debris was imbedded in the stainless steel finish. When the stainless steel was exposed to salt water / salt air the stainless steel starting rusting.

The Solution:  The home owner requested that we clean and refurbish the stainless steel roof panels, stainless steel gutters and stainless steel down spouts. As stainless steel rust removal, stainless steel refinishing and stainless steel restoration specialists we removed the rust, washed away the damaging contaminants and got the corrosive stainless steel fabrication particulate out of the stainless steel finish. The stainless steel in now clean and rust free.

CASE STUDY 49 - CLEANING AND REFURBISHING CLEAR ANODIZED ALUMINUM SIDING PANELS

Condition: The anodized aluminum siding panels on this entertainment facility were faded, stained, dull and oxidized. The anodized aluminum siding aged from exposure to pollutants, acid rain, the sun, hard water spots and caustic mineral deposits. The lack of anodized aluminum washing, care or maintenance caused the anodized aluminum metal finish to prematurely bleach, corrode, stain, pitt and oxidize. Management contacted us for our anodized aluminum restoration and preservation expertise.

The Solution: With the findings of our anodized aluminum surface testing and analysis a long-term anodized aluminum cleaning, washing and maintenance program was initiated to restore, protect and preserve the anodized aluminum clad siding. When the anodized aluminum cleaning, repair, restoration and protection program was complete the anodized aluminum clad siding panels looked clean, fresh and new.

CASE STUDY 36 - STAINLESS STEEL SCRATCH REMOVAL

Condition: The interior stainless steel commercial kitchen appliances and stainless steel elevator doors were scratched, stained, acid etched and damaged by the stainless steel construction cleaning contractor. Muriatic acid vapor flash rusted all of the stainless steel surfaces. In an attempt to repair and remove the rust and damage from the stainless steel the construction cleaning contractor cross grained and scratched the satin finish on all of the stainless steel surfaces.

The Solution: We were contracted to repair, restore and refinish the damaged stainless steel by removing the scratches and rust from the finishes. We achieved this with our stainless steel scratch removal and stainless steel rust removal program to repair and restore the damage to the new stainless steel surfaces. We removed the scratches, cleaned, repaired, reconditioned and refinished the damaged stainless steel kitchen appliances, elevator doors and food processing equipment.

CASE STUDY 37 - PAINTED ALUMINUM ENTRANCE CANOPY CLEANING AND REFINISHING

Condition: The original paint coating on the painted aluminum entrance canopy of this commercial building had faded. The paint was oxidized, chalked and bleached. The building owners wanted a clean and restored entrance to their building facade finishes.

The Solution: To clean and protect the paint from further deterioration, we refurbished the painted aluminum canopy surfaces original paint finish with our painted aluminum cleaning and restoration system. When refinished the painted aluminum entrance canopy panels were clean and restored to the original condition.



CASE STUDY 33 - ACID ETCHED CLEAR ANODIZED ALUMINUM CLEANING AND REFINISHING

Condition: The clear anodized aluminum curtain wall panels on this Class "A" office building were acid etched when mortar and lime residue leaked onto the unprotected anodized aluminum surface finishes. An anodized aluminum construction cleaning contractor used an acid wash to remove the stains which further etched the anodic skin on the aluminum. The acid wash flash oxidized all of the anodized aluminum finishes.

The Solution: As anodized aluminum cleaning, refinishing and restoration experts we were contracted to work on the project. To clean, restore and protect the anodized aluminum curtain wall panels we used our anodized aluminum mortar and lime etching removal and restoration system. The anodized aluminum surfaces are now clean, repaired, refurbished and protected from the sun, weather and further damage.



CASE STUDY 2 - RESTORING OXIDIZED ANODIZED ALUMINUM WINDOW FRAMES AND SIDING PANELS

Condition: The clear anodized aluminum panels, anodized aluminum mullions and anodized aluminum storefront window frames on this commercial building were dirty, oxidized and stained. The anodized color and sheen had faded. The anodized aluminum cladding panels were contaminated with mold, mildew, mineral and calcium deposits. Apple Computer Inc. wanted a mold and mildew stain removal program to repair, restore and refinish the anodized metal surface staining and damage to the anodized aluminum panels.

The Solution: The dull, bleached and damaged exterior anodized aluminum panels and anodized aluminum window frames on this building were cleaned, repaired and restored with our exterior anodized aluminum refinishing system. The anodized aluminum was restoration cleaned removing the oxidation, mold and mildew stains, and the calcium and mineral deposits. The anodized metal cladding was coated with our protective coating to protect the anodized metal finish from further damage, corrosion and weathering.

CASE STUDY 14 - ANODIZED ALUMINUM SCRATCH REMOVAL, REPAIRING CONSTRUCTION & STUCCO DAMAGE

Condition: The dark bronze anodized aluminum window frames at this new construction project in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina were damaged, oxidized, scratched and stained during construction. The stucco contractor scratched the anodized aluminum when they were removing stucco overspray. When they tried to get the stucco off of the anodized aluminum they scratched the aluminum surface finish. The anodized aluminum new construction project was compromised by the oxidation, scratches, etching and stains.

The Solution: The general contractor contracted us to clean, repair and restore the damaged and scratched bronze anodized aluminum window frames. We removed the scratches and stains on the new anodized aluminum window frame sections as if they had not been scratched or damaged. The bronze anodized aluminum looked new and clean when the construction cleaning and anodized aluminum scratch remover program was complete.



CASE STUDY 4 - PAINTED ALUMINUM CURTAIN WALL REFINISHING

Condition: The painted aluminum curtain wall panels, cladding and window frames were oxidized, chalked, faded and stained. Management decided for tenant and aesthetic considerations that restoring the exterior curtain wall painted aluminum metal panels, cladding and window frames on the building was appropriate. Cleaning and refurbishing the painted aluminum building facade was less expensive than painting and achieved the same result.

The Solution: As chalked, faded and damaged painted aluminum metal refinishing experts we used our painted aluminum metal restoration system and this eight storey painted aluminum curtain wall was transformed back to the original dark green with the original luster and sheen. The painted aluminum finishes on this Class "A" building will look clean and new for many years to come and are protected from the damaging atmosphere and caustic environmental elements.



CASE STUDY 68 - ANODIZED ALUMINUM SIDING PANEL CLEANING AND REFINISHING

Condition: The clear anodized aluminum clad siding panels displayed severe discoloration, oxidation, staining and corrosion from years of weathering and a lack of preventive washing or maintenance. The factory anodized finish lost the original sheen, gloss, color depth and luster. Refurbishing the anodized finish will protect and preserve the exterior anodized aluminum siding panels from weathering, pollutants, contaminants, hard water stains, mold, mildew and the damaging elements.

The Solution: To clean, repair, renew and protect the anodized aluminum siding from further oxidation, corrosion, pitting and deterioration we cleaned and refurbished the original anodized finish with our anodized aluminum cleaning and renovation system. Without painting, our oxidized anodized aluminum refinishing and refurbishing program returned the anodized aluminum factory finish to as good as new and now protects the anodized finish from weathering, pitting, oxidation and corrosion.

CASE STUDY 48 - CLEANING AND RESTORING PAINTED ALUMINUM BUILDING FACADE PANELS

Condition: The original clear coat factory finish on the painted aluminum clad building facade siding panels had failed due to age, ultraviolet sun damage and a lack of maintenance washing. The paint finish was chalking, faded, oxidized and had lost its luster and sheen. The owner could paint the building at great expense or wash, renovate and rejuvenate the original painted aluminum metal clad panels. Cleaning and renovating the factory paint finish was the most cost effective.

The Solution: As painted aluminum metal restoration specialists we cleaned, restored and rejuvenated the faded painted aluminum without further damaging the painted surface. We cleaned, repaired and restored the damaged and oxidized painted aluminum siding panels with our faded paint cleaning and restoration system. After cleaning and refinishing the painted aluminum building facade siding the panels were clean, protected and as good as new.



CASE STUDY 10 - STAINLESS STEEL BUILDING FACADE RESTORATION CLEANING

Condition: The exterior stainless steel metal storefront, stainless steel window frames and stainless steel siding panels on the Adidas, USA building facade were stained, rusting, oxidized and bleached from years of exposure to damaging elements and a lack of routine maintenance washing. The unsightly damage to the stainless steel panels required our stainless steel metal refinishing expertise and stainless steel rust removal program.

The Solution: As stainless steel cleaning and restoration specialists we cleaned and restored the stainless steel building facade cladding panels with our stainless steel restoration cleaning, rust and scratch removal systems. This made the dirty, dull, rusting, faded and corroded building shine. The rust, staining, pitting, corrosion and oxidation was carefully removed as to not further damage the satin stainless steel finish on the stainless steel building facade panels and storefront window frames.

CASE STUDY 62 - PAINTED STEEL STATUE REFINISHING

Condition: This painted steel statue is from the estate of the artist Keith Haring. The Keith Haring Foundation donated the "Figure on Dog" sculpture in 1992 to the Borough of Kutztown, PA; Keith Haring's childhood home town. Over the years the painted steel was vandalized with graffiti. The paint finish had faded. The steel was rusting and scratched.

The Solution: The Keith Haring Foundation of New York City entrusted us to paint and restore the painted steel sculpture removing the rust, graffiti, vandalism and scratches. We had to grind off the graffiti, rust and scratches, fill the voids and sand the entire statue smooth. The steel was primed and painted Imron red with our exterior painted steel refinishing system. The painted steel statue now stands restored, refurbished and reconditioned.



CAE STUDY 59 - BRONZE ANODIZED ALUMINUM WINDOW FRAME REFINISHING, PAINTING AND RESTORATION

Condition: The exterior anodized aluminum window frames and painted aluminum flashing was oxidized, pitted, stained, corroded and chemically etched. The dark bronze anodized aluminum horizontal window frames were so oxidized the anodic layer had worn off and the aluminum substrate was exposed. The contaminated condition of the window frames made the building look weathered. For long-term preservation the owners required the anodized aluminum be clean, restored, painted and protected.

The Solution: We mechanically got the corrosion off and then restoration cleaned the stained, aged, dull and faded anodized aluminum doors, metal window frames and vertical window mullions. The anodized aluminum window frames and painted metal flashing that could not be refurbished or restored were painted to match the color, gloss and sheen of the restored and reconditioned anodized aluminum window frames.



CASE STUDY 61 - COMMERCIAL PAINTED ALUMINUM REFINISHING

Condition: The dark green painted aluminum storefront entrance doors and painted aluminum window frames to this shopping mall were scarred, scratched and damaged from the non-stop pedestrian traffic on a daily basis. The paint was chipping, faded and flaking off. The painted aluminum entrance got to the point that it was an eyesore.

The Solution: The shopping mall management and engineering department requested a fix for the painted aluminum doors and painted aluminum window frames that would standup to the daily pedestrian traffic. We prepared, painted and refinished the entrance doors and window frames with our high performance painted aluminum spray applied pigmented coating. The mall entrance looks new again.



CASE STUDY 12 - EXTERIOR ANODIZED ALUMINUM BUILDING FACADE PANEL RESTORATION

Condition: The anodized aluminum clad building facade panels and window frames on this owner occupied commercial building in Houston, Texas were oxidized, bleached, pitted and stained. The anodized aluminum panels looked old, aged, dull and faded as they had never been cleaned, washed or maintained since the building was new. ADP, Inc. wanted to clean, refurbish and protect the damaged exterior anodized aluminum building facade panel system.

The Solution: The anodized aluminum cladding was cleaned, repaired and restored with our exterior anodized aluminum cleaning and refinishing system. The anodized aluminum was restoration cleaned and the metal clad panels were coated with our clear protective coating. With the anodized aluminum surfaces now clean, the coating will preserve and protect the anodic layer from airborne and waterborne contaminants, sun and u.v. exposure and all around general weathering.

Condition: The painted metal building facade siding panels were oxidized, chalked, faded and bleached. The paint finish lost the original color, sheen, luster and gloss. The paint surface looked old, dull and aged. Ownership wanted the painted aluminum siding panels to look new again. As well the painted panels had to be protected from the sun, wear and tear, u.v. exposure, pollutants and contaminants. They wanted the building facade panels clean, repaired and protected.

The Solution: We were contracted to clean, refurbish and recondition the painted aluminum building facade siding panels as they were severely oxidized and faded. We had to clean, repair and restore the painted finish without causing any more damage to the painted aluminum metal panels. Our faded paint reconditioning and restoration system returned the painted aluminum clad siding panels to as good as new and now protects the paint from weathering and caustic elements.



CASE STUDY 69 - BRONZE ANODIZED ALUMINUM RESTORATION, WASHING AND LONG-TERM MAINTENANCE

Condition: A lack of washing the exterior dark bronze anodized aluminum cladding, siding panels and window frames on this twenty-three year old owner occupied commercial building in Park Ridge, NJ caused the anodized aluminum to bleach, stain, acid etch and oxidize. Without washing the anodized aluminum it aged from exposure to airborne and waterborne contaminants, pollutants, acid rain, sun damage and u.v. exposure. The lack of maintenance washing contributed to the corrosion on the anodized finishes.

The Solution: We were contacted to analyze the degraded, stained, corroded, pitting and oxidized exterior bronze anodized aluminum window frames, siding and cladding panels. With the findings of our analysis and specification we were contracted to clean, wash, refinish and maintain the contaminated anodized aluminum finishes. Our anodized aluminum refinishing system cleaned, refurbished and protected the anodized aluminum restoring the original color, gloss and sheen to the anodized finish.



CASE STUDY 32 - RESTORING SILICONE CAULKING STAINED AND DAMAGED ANODIZED ALUMINUM PANELS

Condition: The anodized aluminum metal building facade panels were silicone stained by old and degraded caulking. The original panels did not match the newly built clean anodized aluminum stair-tower panels. The aged original panels with the silicone caulking staining damage were in need of cleaning, repair and restoration.

The Solution: To achieve the desired result this project required our anodized aluminum construction cleaning and our aluminum restoration refinishing system. With these restoration systems we were able to clean and repair the staining damage without damaging the panels during the restoration process. We exceeded ownership's expectations as the new clean stair-tower panels match the clean and refinished original panels.
