The anodized aluminum metal curtain wall was dirty, faded and oxidized. The new building owner wanted to clean, restore and resolve the aesthetic issues. Condition:  During construction the anodized aluminum storefront and window mullions on this Venice Beach, CA condominium were stained and oxidized. The architect and owner wanted the anodized aluminum clean of surface damage immediately. The Solution:  This twenty-one storey commercial building curtain wall required our metal refinishing expertise to clean and restore the anodized aluminum to the original sheen and luster while maintaining the integrity of the anodized aluminum metal curtain wall finish for years to come. The Solution:  A York Property Company Technical Advisor assisted the architect with the anodized aluminum surface damage analysis and the correct specification for the repair and restoration of the anodized aluminum. To clean the anodized aluminum required our construction cleaning system. 23 - Bronze Anodized Aluminum Restoration Cleaning 24 - Anodized Aluminum Building Facade Refinishing >> Enlarge >> Enlarge Condition:  The anodized aluminum canopy, storefront and window frames on the emergency entrance to this hospital in Long Island, NY were stained, faded and corroded from age. Rain water did not rinse off the anodized aluminum on the underside of the metal clad canopy. Condition:  The exterior metal panels and window mullions on this commercial building facade were stained, faded, dull and oxidized. The owner was selling the building and required an analysis of the building with a specification to clean and restore the anodized aluminum. The Solution:  Airborne contaminants slowly built up on the underside of the anodized aluminum canopy forming a corrosive layer. With our restoration cleaning program the anodized aluminum was returned to like new. Now the aluminum is clean and protected from further damage. The Solution:  An on-site field evaluation was arranged where a survey of the anodized aluminum was performed. After extensive testing and analysis a report with a specification and recommendation were prepared. Iron oxide metal grinding dust had covered all of the window frames. General cleaning would not remove the rust impregnated anodized aluminum window frames. Condition:  The exterior anodized aluminum metal column covers and window mullions on this commercial building in Winston-Salem, NC were pitted, streaked, stained, corroded and oxidized. The owners, G.M.A.C., requested that we clean and restore the degraded anodized aluminum. The Solution:  The General Contractor retained us as an expert to clean the window frames. We had to return the anodized aluminum window mullions to the original condition. This was achieved using our anodized aluminum construction cleaning system. The window frames are now clean. The Solution:  G.M.A.C. wanted to make sure that the metal building facade presented itself well. To clean and restore the anodized aluminum we installed our anodized aluminum restoration system. The anodized aluminum was never washed by rain water and had oxidized prematurely. The building was for sale and needed to look new and clean again. Condition:  The exterior clear anodized aluminum building facade panels and window mullions on this owner occupied commercial building were bleached, stained, acid etched and oxidized. Ownership requested the anodized aluminum building facade be clean, restored and protected. The Solution:  The owners requested that we clean and restore the bleached and oxidized anodized aluminum building facade panels and window frames. As experts, with our anodized aluminum restoration system we were able to clean and restore the anodized aluminum. The Solution:  Our Technical Consulting Division made a site visit to analyze the degraded exterior clear anodized aluminum building facade window mullions and panels. For long-term integrity considerations the owners required the painted aluminum be clean, restored and protected from further damage. Condition:  The anodized aluminum was stained and etched during the restoration of this Washington, DC landmark building. Mortar got on the anodized aluminum and it became etched. As experts, our client had confidence we could clean, refinish and restore the anodized aluminum. The Solution:  The painted aluminum building facade window frames were restoration cleaned and then coated with our painted aluminum clear protective coating to seal the pores of the paint and protect it from further degradation. The paint is now clean and protected. The Solution:  Although the anodized aluminum building facade window mullions and doors were seriously damaged, our anodized aluminum construction cleaning restoration system allowed us to clean and restore the acid etched and oxidized anodized aluminum to "like new".
